Last day of 2010

feeling kind of emotional about it! ha. but of course, i am anticipating all the goodness that 2011 is going to bring along upon it's arrival!

resolutions made are never kept! out of the 6 (or is it 8?) i made for this year, yours truly only fulfilled one! *sheepish grin

for 2011, i just want to be:
a better person;
a better daughter;
a better friend.

mummykins asked what i wanted for my b'day. and i was really thinking hard, but nothing came across my mind. as we grow, the value of money becomes smaller and smaller. i wonder how i survived with only $1 daily during primary school days. if you give a pri sch kid $1 now, they probably will ask you for $0.20 more so that they can get a cup of sweet talk! or probably worse. they wants koi instead of sweet talk.

rowena just told me i am on leave next thurs and fri. like so sudden? ha. anyway, i am hoping i can swap it to 10th and 11th. so that sabby and i can go for our monthly jb trip. been missing out quite a few months due to our busy agenda. shall wait for kevin's good news tml! (:

finally get to eat my "bear bear" steamboat with BFF. we were there about 1 hr 15 mins, and i spent approx 30 mins "playing". ha. bumped into jun ting (robin's cousin) there as well. he was sitting just beside us and i didn't even notice him until he called me!

2010 is coming to an end soon! though it wasn't very smooth sailing along the way, but i must say i am quite sure this is gonna be one of the good years in my life. i really learnt so much along the way.

btw, i got my fringe cut today and i look like a dope. i am keeping my fingers crossed that Ruth will be free tml night to slot me in!

my weekends was wasted! i only left the house to go back to office to do sth yesterday and stepped out for awhile today to get koi with robin!

i have finished the entire bottle of pi pa gao and had like maybe more than 10 panadols since fri! and i am still not well!

just got back from NEX with robin! i really like it when we talked about anything under the sun over a nice meal! it feels so good and relaxing.it's a pretty good way to de-stress!although that moron pisses me off to the max at times, and even uses nonsense to cover his nonsense, BUT at the end of the day, he's still the one who backs me up when i fall,listen to my insecurities and worries and guide me through it all. it's not self proclaimed. it's proven. he is my best friend, now till both of us stop breathing. (:

you know, i used to disagree with robin on alot of things. but right now, i realised what he said is all true to a certain extent.

NEX & PS with han wei today! finally get to try the pink pearl bubble tea.to think i've anticipated it for quite sometime, it turned out to be a disappointment.even though at 70%, the taste is still quite bitter. the pearls are chewy though! me like chewy pearls.

this monkey is seriously cute in an irritating way! there's a light brown one for it too.
had dinner with the folks at this place. not bad! and the price is rather wallet friendly too.u guys should check it out.
robin caught this via the capsule thingy machine.$3! it's getting expensive eh. i even saw some with $6!

when he caught it, he refused to let me see and insisted me to point out which is my favourite on the picture pasted on the machine. i pointed out the one with the pearls, and indeed that's the one he caught. i know it's just mere coincidence, but i still like to think it's telepathy at work. :p
and i can't believe i spent 2 hours last night and 1 hour this morning (when i was still lazing in bed) on sally spa! it's dammmmmm addictive.

my dinner was soooo horrible yesterday! had koi,himalayan frappe and a few mouthful of cinnamon melts. damm sickening sweet. even robin felt sick! he has the exact same thing but he had double chocolate instead of the frappe.

suppose to meet mr choo at 10pm, now its already 10:44pm! super tired now, only had approx 3 hours of sleep as liang woke me up for breakfast this morning!

he better arrive anytime soon, cause my eyelids are getting really heavy.

can't wait to start on my new read tomorrow. (:

two pieces of super thin slices of grilled fish. i would rather if it's one thick piece! and the lemon honey sauce taste so bland! and the mashed potato is those powdered kind. not real potatoes.
han wei's. wayyyyy much better than mine.
this is their specialty , sth apple and peach salad. i know this is only the side dish, thus the few pieces of apple and peach cubes. the actual dish itself is $4.90 (i can't really recall). i don't think i would want to pay that price for a handful of lettuce,apple and peach cubes without any special dressing. oh, did i mention that the peaches they used is canned peaches? yeewwwww.


verdict? botak jones is a million times better! but still will be going back there just for ziyou (insider's thingy)! LOL.
